Spring rolls are a large variety of filled, rolled appetizers. The name is a literal translation of the Chinese Spring rolls seen in East-Asian and South east Asian cuisine. The variety of wrapper, fillings, and cooking method used, also the name, vary significantly within this large area.
Spring roll is a fried dish usually accessible as a dim sum. It usually includes minced pork, shredded carrot, bean sprouts as well as other vegetables served using a sauce much like Worcestershire sauce.
