Hong Kong Museum Of Medical Sciences

Located in an elegant red brick building, this museum opened in 1996 and charts the development of medicine in the town. It had been the primary ever to concentrate on equally Western and traditional Chinese strategies to health. Alongside a display of herbaceous plants and cures, that is antique apothecary gear and other items of interest for the medical-history buff. Its quiet setting, down some steps from hectic Caine Street, produces this museum a refreshing step in time.
