Cheung Chau Island 長洲

Cheung Chau Island 長洲 is charming island, a half-hour ferry ride west of Hong Kong. It is good place to escape the noisy and busy city centre. The sense of an older, traditional Hong Kong is pervasive among the narrow streets, tiny shops and temple of old prirates and fishing haven. The seafood here is cheap and it has a small and excellent beach.

If visitors want to dine on fish or shellfish, there’s plenty of choice along the seafront on She Praya Road north and south of the ferry pier. And, the seafood are chosen from the live tank by customers.
