Lantau: Tai O 大澳

Tai O 大澳 is on the western coast of Lantau. It is a pretty villege and can be walked from Mui Mo.  This is one of the last places in Hong Kong where visitors can see the traditional stilt housing of southern Chinese fishing villages. The souvenior of Tai O is shrimp paste, a powerful type of fish sauce and dried sea food. Tai O has some good seafood restaurants and the Tofu dessert is also famous.
