PIECE OF PEACE – World Heritage Exhibition Built with LEGO ® Brick

Last Sunday, as we were about to head back home after my weekly grocery shopping, we incidentally spotted the Piece of Peace exhibition at CityPlaza.  This exhibition features a collection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage replicas  made by LEGO® bricks.

 

Each builder makes use of LEGO® bricks of different shapes and like or distinct colours to illustrate the fine details of the world’s most renowned architectures, just to name a few – The Tower of Pisa, Fujisan, Fujian Tulou, etc.  The display card beside each piece of work not only states the facts of the corresponding heritage/architecture but spells out also the names of the creator and/or director as well as the number of bricks and days used to put it together.

 

The exhibition will go on until the end of this month (31st July 2013) at Cityplaza along with the LEGO® “Build Your World” Asia Tournament competition.  Please visit the Official website for more details.
