Poetry on the Tram – this fascinating new project intends to incorporate poetry to the overall community by showing lines of poetry inside the city’s public space. From mid-November, 29 recently-renovated tram automobiles, decorated with poetry in both Chinese and English, will work on Hong Kong Island until 30 January 2014. The poem selections contain work from poets throughout the world including the UNITED KINGDOM, France, the USA, Japan, the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong.
Date: mid-Nov 2013 to 30 January 2014
Location: lower and upper decks of newly-renovated trams
