Hang Seng Bank Limited (SEHK: 0011, OTCBB: HSNGY) is the 2nd biggest bank in Hong Kong. It’s a listed company however it is majority-owned (62.14% equity interest) from the HSBC Group via The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. Hang Seng is in addition among the constituent shares of the Hang Seng Index. The present vicechairman and CHIEF executive officer is Margaret Leung Ko May Yee. Former CEO Vincent Cheng has been appointed to be the Chairperson of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, and took up the post on May 25, 2005.
